When our buyers say “District 20” they often times mean, or include, the suburban, planned community of Briargate. Almost all home sizes and prices exist in Briargate, from starter homes to executive golf course living. All homes are 1980 and later, the majority in 80920 built between 1995 and 2005, and all of 80924 built after 2004.
Most of the better dining options on the north end of town are found in Briargate. Invariably if we’re searching for homes in this area, the lunch hour will include a stop at Till Kitchen—a personal favorite.
As mentioned, the main attractions are that all homes are in Academy School District 20, but it is also geographically convenient to all major employment in El Paso County. A master-planned community, Briargate was built with a suburban residential focus, and the theme continued with the “Sequel Neighborhoods” that came after Briargate, including Pine Creek, Wolf Ranch and Cordera. Schools, grocery, parks, open spaces and some commercial development are all thoughtfully placed and located. Briargate offers new construction, the Promenade Shops at Briargate, Pine Creek Golf Course, easy access to I-25 and the Powers Corridor.
As an on-going service, we can provide almost-instant information on over 8-dozen neighborhoods in the Pikes Peak Region. The neighborhoods we track annually in our Where to Buy Product for Briargate include:
