Office Opening Announcement
August 2020 saw the highest priced home sale in El Paso County history with the closing of 14065 Highway 83, Colorado Springs, CO 80921. For client-sensitivity, most online images have been taken down, but this Architecture Digest-featured (2013) residence on 55 acres closed at $6.7 million on August 7th. The listing broker was Elaine Stucy of LIV Sotheby’s International Realty.
It’s worth noting that in the history of the five sales over $4 million in the El Paso County, three of the five have been brokered by LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, including the top two sales in the city limits (19 Elm Ave and 4855 Willow Stone in the Broadmoor and Broadmoor Resort respectively) and the aforementioned Southard Star Ranch. The timing happened to be concurrent, as LIV Sotheby’s International Realty has officially opened an office to serve the Pikes Peak Region… and yours truly is the managing broker at 102 N. Cascade Ave. Ste. 100, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
These top-end sales are significant in the marketplace, but it’s worth noting a couple things for the consumer: LIV Sotheby’s International Realty provides first-class service at every price point. The appeal for me personally are required high-standards, earned trust and doing work with passion and professionalism every single day. This was emblematic in my business partner Eric Scott’s father, Stuart, who owned and operate Stuart Scott Ltd. in Colorado Springs for 37 years before he passed in 2015. In his honor, we are bringing back his familiar phone number of 719-578-8800; Stu would have fit right in. The office may be new, but the knowledge-base is local and stretches back for decades. LIV Sotheby’s International Realty quality-standard is shared in every listing and every presentation; in the last 18 months, Eric and I have worked on listings and sales from $133,000 to $3 million. Working on the recruiting side of things now as well as in my personal business, the value of doing business professionally and properly has possibly never been more demonstrable.
The disorienting and often staggering realities of the 2020 landscape have had a particular impact on the real estate landscape. We take our packaging and marketing seriously at Sotheby’s International Realty, but we also trust originates in facts, not persuasion. My passion for numbers has a home among my peers. As the office opens and expands, expect an even greater commitment to accuracy, thoroughness and execution. One of my mentor’s, Thomas Wright at sister-company Summit Sotheby’s stated in an all-org Zoom back in the first days of stay-at-home shutdown in March “The professional is grounded in facts.” It was a borderline spiritual moment for me knowing that I was truly among peers.
We hope to offer our care, insight and capacity to you and yours as we officially launch our office at our new home in downtown Colorado Springs.
